EQ – is a relatively recent behavioral model, rising to prominence with Daniel Goleman’s 1995 Book called ‘Emotional Intelligence’. Emotional Intelligence is increasingly relevant to the development of both the individual and the organization.
It relates strongly with concepts of love and spirituality which brings compassion and humanity at work. We have all met people who are academically brilliant and yet are socially and inter-personally inept. We know that despite possessing a high IQ rating, success does not automatically follow, EQ is the golden key to success.
